The FOO Method

From reclaimed origins to responsibly sourced resources, we work with nature’s palette — whether grain, stone, or earth — allowing each material to speak in its truest voice. Our design method takes a gathered, authentic approach using multi-constructed source materials and endless hand-led nuance in construction. Bold, raw, edgy, delicious, and timeless altogether: it is a compilation of limitless methods. We create pieces that are soulful, one-of-a-kind and forever personable.

Our process begins in the hands of the creative team putting together a collection. Each collection begins with an idea drawn from nature — a curve, a surface, a contrast of forms.

The concept is handed over to the designer, where generations of experience are developed from a hand sketch and transformed by our engineering team. The intricacies are determined with the highest quality internals in mind, to ensure the longevity of every piece.

It is then passed onto the craftsman to bring the art to life in form and frame. Our makers shape, carve, and weave with respect for material and process. We let natural textures remain visible, letting honesty guide the outcome. Then it's meticulously inspected for quality control on each and every detail.
